Anna Sheffield’s bridal and everyday designs are glamorous with a hint of rock ‘n’ roll. I adore the black and gold Bea on the bottom left corner. Unnnf.

See more of her fantastic work here or get your daily dose of inspiration on her Pinterest.

Home Improvement/DIY: Oh Happy Day

Oh Happy Day is a lifestyle and design blog run by San Francisco party planner Jordan Ferney.  Most of the DIY projects Jordan posts aren’t too complicated and can actually be created in real life, which is refreshing to see on sites like this! She also posts design inspiration which I am of course all about. (and how awesome is that modern gingerbread house?)

Like what you see? Head on over.

Miscellaneous: Coca Runners

Cocoa Runners is a [brilliant] subscription service for the best handcrafted chocolates from all over the world. Every month, you’ll receive four bars in a gorgeous package with stories about each bar. You can rank what tastes, notes and consistencies you like best and they’ll also send you recommendations.

Americans must fork over an arm and a leg to get a subscription shipped to them, but if you are a chocolate enthusiast you can sign up for their newsletter which is still beautiful and informative, just not quite as tasty!

Blog Envy #3

Tumblr: National Geographic Found

National Geographic is not trying too hard to be cool with its new Tumblr. The institution knows its audience, and only posts simple, gorgeous images with little snippets about the photographer and time period. It’s a great way to learn some history while poking around Tumblr. Check it out, my history/photography buffs will not be disappointed.

Fashion Blogs:  Tomboy Style

Fashion photography, interviews, style inspiration posts, and the latest products from a tomboy perspective. All around gorgeous blog run by Lizzie Garrett Mettler, friendly to gentlemen as well. You just have to appreciate the aesthetic of this site.

Speaking of aesthetically pleasing sites, the famed 40 Days of Dating is probably the greatest thing to come from the Internet in 2013. Basically, two friends decide to try dating and document all of it with the help from their talented friends. Gorgeous images, videos and typfaces abound. Plus, their story is captivating (JUST BE TOGETHER ALREADY GAHHH). Get ready to lose some hours of your life.

Miscellaneous: Petrolicious

Tell me you aren’t in love with classic cars after spending some time perusing Petrolicious and I won’t believe you. I am always intrigued by the way they present the history, design and cultural impact of the automobile. An all round flawless site. Plus, how can you not love these inspiration images?

Blog Envy #2

I’m finally back to regular posting and what better way to celebrate than with a little dose of blog envy?  I love these sites and hope you will find inspiration from them too!

First up,

Tumblr: Movies in Color

MoviesinColor2 MoviesInColor1MoviesInColor4

There are few things I love in this world more than quality films, Tumblr and expertly curated color swatches.

In short, I want to marry the creator of Movies in Color and you will too. It’s cool, we can share.

Fashion Blogs: Costra y Ampolla

My Spanish speaking readers might associate costra and ampolla with some not-so-pretty things, but no worries, this style blog is gorgeous through and through. Run by two best friends in Mexico City, CYA is inspiration for the young and price conscious.

If I dedicated my blog completely to style, I would want it to look something like CYA. Keep up the good work Rocio and Ruben!

Typography: Ten Dollar Fonts

Even though I cannot justify spending money on fonts just yet, Ten Dollar Fonts is still a fantastic site for inspiration. The major trends in type right now are well represented, plus some unexpected, lovely fonts.

It’s a visual feast and you will dig it.

Miscellaneous: TeuxDeux

Forget about Google calendar and the post-its stuck all over your desk, because TeuxDeux will change your life. Items can be programmed to repeat every day, week and month, and you can also create lists for things you would like to accomplish in the future! I have lists for professional stuff, books to read, and things to accomplish this summer.

What you’ll get: An online calendar with a gorgeous, minimal interface. Free for now, but they’re charging $2 per month after a three month trial. Hakuna Matata people, it’s well worth it.

[My friend and I are having a competition to see how many people we can get to use TeuxDeux, so leave me a comment if you’ve been converted! I must win!]

So that’s Blog Envy #2!

Share some of your favorite sites with me in the comments!

Blog Envy #1

It’s time for my first official Blog Envy post! I want this monthly segment to be a place where I share some of my favorite sites with y’all, and maybe you share some of yours with me in the comments? Yes? Sounds like a plan.

First up,

Retail/Shopping: A Kind Of Guise

I’ve blogged about this German company many times before, but I just want to make sure that no one misses out on all the awesome going down over the pond! They are extremely talented, witty, and keep it real (you have to respect that in a company). See their latest clothing lines, company news, random pictures of their glorious Dog de Bordeux in residence, and simply enjoy the eye candy that is the AKOG site.

Fashion Blogs: Sandra Hagelstam’s 5 Inch and Up

Hailing from Finland, this London based blogger is hands down one of the coolest girls in the industry.  I am constantly inspired by her ability to mix classic silhouettes with the minimalist edge made famous by Scandinavians (seriously, is there something in the water over there?).

Expect to see her personal style flawlessly photographed, latest purchases and styling projects. If you’re ready to experience major hair envy, head on over.

Design Inspiration: RoAndCo

Screen shot 2013-03-28 at 7.36.25 PM

RoAndCo is a “multi-disceplenary design studio devoted to holistic branding that serves a range of fashion, art and lifestyle clients.” Basically, they fix problems and provide solutions in the coolest ways imaginable. Remember Svbscription? All RoAndCo.

Don’t be overwhelmed by the projects flashing in front of your eyes, jump in and explore!

Typography: Lost Type Co-Op

Screen shot 2013-03-28 at 7.23.59 PM Screen shot 2013-03-28 at 7.24.18 PM

I like the vibe of this company. You pay as much as you want (free is also an option) for some of the coolest fonts around.

Great company, fantastic fonts, what’s not to love? Go see for yourself!

So that’s it! The first Blog Envy is done! Now it’s your turn to tell me about some of your favorite sites in the comments! Don’t forget that you can always see my favorite sites for yourself on my Inspiration page.
