Menswear Monday: What Ali Wore

MensHeader

Zoe noticed Ali walking by the cafe she works at in Berlin every morning and began to photograph his style. There are not many images on the Tumblr, but it is one of the most wonderful things I’ve seen in a long time. Ali’s outfits are always eye catching and I love to read Zoe’s captions. Their unlikely friendship is blossoming right in front of our eyes! Yay Internet!

Plus, the man knows his style…

Be sure to go see Zoe’s photography as well!

Menswear Monday: Gucci X Dapper Lou

MensHeader

I don’t think this needs any explanation, just Dapper Lou wearing Gucci’s iconic Horsebit loafers and looking fantastic.

Gentlemen, take note.

Sidenote: I still wish men wore hats like this *le sigh*

Menswear Monday: Race Imboden

MensHeader

Race

Can we just talk about how weird it is for someone your age to be doing really big things while you blog about them from your generic computer in your generic dorm room?

I am speaking, of course, about Race Imboden. We share the same birth year, good ol’ 1993, and a love of swords (confession: I once bought a prop rapier from the people who made the swords in Pirates of the Caribbean). The only difference between us, is that he is an Olympic fencer, model, and DJ in Brooklyn with a super cool name, while I… well you know already know what I do.

Mr. Porter shot Race in a series of fencing inspired images, styled by Jason Rider in effortlessly cool looks by Saint Laurent, Givenchy, Raf Simons and Valentino.

Clean, minimal, edgy. I dig it.

Now if only the nineteen year olds around here would dress this way…
